A PATHOS, they call her, something she knows very little about, despite being guided through this new world by the Covenant Marcellus Ambrose, and his team. Kassandra tries to learn more about her gift, how to hone it, and how to make herself useful to the group. However, as Caine's absence stretches longer and drives them apart, it allows another partnership to bloom...
When it becomes fact that the injuries, abductions, and deaths around town are not from wild animal attacks... she and the group are led to believe it is something, or someone else, who is a denizen of the Kingdom of Night.
